sometimes no audio for AVI XVid files...I have to restart the WD player to get the sound back

Installed versjon 1.3.01 yesterday and discovered some of the same problems. Some Mkv files plays without audio. Audio unsync on some avi files. 4-5 sec at the worst. GB

"ATTENTION: PROBLEMS WITH NEW FIRMWARE 1.3.01 - IT REFUSE TO PLAY DTS SOUND MUSIC!!!!!"ATTENTION: YOU NEED TO READ!!! *facepalm* Seriously though, 1) there's no need to yell. 2) try reading almost any documentation that WD provided and see that they never claimed to support DTS. This is not a problem with this firmware version - DTS was never supported. Get a WDTVLive if you need DTS. For the future, try searching first. A simple search for wdtv dts will yeild TONS of results with all versions of firmware. DTS has never worked with the WDTV and it will probably never work in the future because of a hardware limitation. Try converting the file instead. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |
